Algorithms are at the heart of serving up relevant content online, whether it’s Google’s search algorithms or, in this case, videos on Facebook. Social media is in love with video and Facebook is now tipping the scales slightly in favor of longer videos – they understand that there is a greater commitment to watch longer content and don’t want longer videos to suffer just because they are longer.
