Holiday Party
It’s always a busy time at the end of the year for d.trio marketing group. It’s jam-packed with work and celebrations. This year, d.trio came together at The Dakota Jazz Club in Minneapolis to celebrate (and say good riddance) to 2016. We enjoyed great food, smooth holiday jazz and smoother cocktails. We even enjoyed each other’s company! Photos were taken and then deleted immediately.

New Client
We are excited to announce that TWG (formerly Tulsa Winch Group) chose d.trio marketing group in December to pull off a rebrand…and an identity system, website redesign, new brochures and an app. Our progress with the rebrand is top secret but we can say definitively that we are lifting their brand to new heights and can’t wait for them to haul in new clients with their new look. We will rope everyone in when TWG is ready to show off the new look!

Project 333: Small Steps. Big Change.
At d.trio, we’re a small company committed to making a big impact. Besides working for our clients’ success, we’re also dedicated to helping make the world a better place. Towards that mission, we’re launching a new giving program in 2017 called Project 333. Each month, we’ll donate $333 to a local, national, or international charity that’s improving lives and making the world a better place. It’s our way of showing that anyone—and any amount of money—can help make good things happen.

oneloveJanuary charity of the month: One Love Bicycle Brigade
On a trip to Jamaica, Jon Liesenfeld noticed a young boy riding a broken down bike. He saw the joy it gave the rider and also noticed that several children were waiting their turn to ride, sharing the one bike. This inspired Jon to create his charity, “One Love Bicycle Brigade”. One Love Bicycle Brigade started with Jon collecting, repairing and painting used bikes and raising funds to ship them to Jamaica where he delivers them to both children and adults. Since its inception, the charity has grown to also collect, ship and distribute shoes, clothing, sports equipment, tools, books, and pretty much anything Jon can get his hands on. The first year they delivered about 100 bikes, last year they delivered over 300 bikes and the 2017 goal is 500. Born of curiosity and enthusiasm, we’re a scrappy group of smart, passionate marketers who work hard and play hard. We show up every day and fight for our clients who are making the world a better place. We listen with curiosity, explore deeply, ask hard questions, and sometimes put forth ideas that might make you squirm. Because we believe the status quo is good for growing mold but not much else. The way we see it, change is the way forward and the magic happens when curiosity, math, science, instinct, and talent intersect.
