When we came across this article with the title ‘Millennials still favor email”, we were a bit baffled. It’s 2016, and everyone knows that Millennials are notorious for their love of texting and Snapchatting and Instagraming (or some other hot new communications app that we haven’t heard of yet).

But as we dug deeper, we learned that the survey this article is based on was more about at-work communications. Which, it turns out, is a much different story than social communications. Not surprisingly, Millennials use their mobile devices to check email more than any other device. We think you could argue the same for non-Millennials.

So, what did we really learn from this article? 1) Headlines can be misleading, 2) Email isn’t going anywhere, and 3) Marketers just can’t seem to get enough information about this precious demographic.
