Remember, before COVID, when a kind-hearted soul would bring a box of assorted donuts to the office to share with the crew? According to Beth, a maple glazed donut (or remnants of one) always seemed to appear among the carnage at the bottom of the box. And because Fred is Fred (which is our way of saying we have no idea how his brain works), he added a twist to this uninspired donut name and announced it would be a great name for an agency. Thus, Maple Glazed Donut Fish was born. Which, coincidentally, falls right into this interesting pattern of how agencies name themselves.
Sam, because he never passes up the chance to draw something, designed a logo. And Beth, because she never passes up the chance to go the extra mile, created a badge, and even a website for our MGDF friend—thereby creating an alter ego for d.trio. Then she entered the whole package into a creative awards competition. And guess what? We won! Specifically, we won a Silver MUSE Creative Award in the Corporate Identity category. Which means we get to flaunt this cool badge and this cool award. How cool is that?
ICYMI the MUSE Awards is a series of international competitions hosted by the International Awards Associate (IAA), catering to professionals from various industries in hopes of promoting excellence in their respective fields.
