This Forbes writer gets it: Creative thinking in business is hella important. This blog offers some useful tips for getting the juices flowing. Since we’re a visual bunch, we are particularly into “Mind Mapping”, which is a brainstorming technique that revolves around a diagram of concepts and ideas.

A good kind of grenade
We call it a brand refresh. This guy calls it a “mini-lution” (rather than an evolution or a revolution) and describes it as “lobbing a brand grenade” (love this) rather than a rebrand. His point about how most people don’t really know or care about the entirety of a brand is spot on—we branding types tend to care more than everyone else. But that doesn’t mean branding isn’t important—obviously.
