There’s a lot of attention being given to influencer marketing these days. The idea behind it is pretty intriguing: Instead of targeting an entire audience, you focus your efforts on certain key “influencers”—those with a large, dedicated social media following—and let them do the talking for you.
A recent study showed that 94% of marketers think influencer marketing is an effective campaign strategy. Problem is, 78% of marketers admit it’s a challenge to get accurate figures to support its effectiveness. So does it actually work? It’s hard to know. But one thing’s for sure—there’s definitely some creative work being done in the influencer marketing space.
