New Hires
Sam Glubka joined us in July as our new Designer/Developer. He graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a BFA in Graphic Design and comes with professional experience in web design and development. We’re excited to have him on our creative team.
Carol Wahl is our newest Account Executive and also came on board in July. She is an experienced marketing professional with a proven record of performance in both agency and client environments. We love having her “get-it-done” project management style and her “keep-it-light” attitude at the agency.
Project 333
September was a tough month for our friends, family, colleagues and clients in Texas, Florida, Georgia, Puerto Rico and all those who were in the path of the hurricanes. Our thoughts and hearts are with them through their long journey to recovery. To help support this journey, we tripled our donation this month and sent $333 each to the Harvey, Irma, and Maria funds through the Red Cross. www.redcross.org.
About Project 333: Each month, we donate $333 to a local, national, or international charity that’s improving lives and making the world a better place. It’s our way of showing that anyone—and any amount of money—can help make good things happen.
Every year we submit our best work to the Summit Creative Awards – an organization that recognizes the work of small and medium sized agencies – and this year we won two! One for our work on the TWG Infrastructure Brochure and another for the new logo we designed for S&Y.
We highlighted the TWG brochure in our spring newsletter earlier this year and we’re featuring the S&Y work this month. We’re extremely proud of this work and very thankful for our clients that give us these great opportunities. Both clients are pleased with the work, and that matters more than anything, but winning an award is a nice cherry on top.
What we did on our summer vacations
Carol: “Went white water rafting in Colorado where the water was at record highs. Instead of an introductory rafting experience, we got Grade 4 & 5 rapids. Yikes!”
Mark: “Had an awesome guys weekend in Chicago with my brothers.”
Maureen: “Spent a relaxing week in California at my favorite yoga retreat.”
Danette: “Rode the challenging new mountain biking trails in the Superior National Forest.”
Fred: “Went to an amazing John Legend concert.”
Beth: “Celebrated my great-aunt’s 100th birthday party and rocked my face off at my friend’s heavy metal show.”
Melinda: “Took a road trip to Yellowstone to visit Old Faithful.”
Megan: Spent the summer doing one of my favorite things—traveling to various cities, including Vancouver, San Diego, Chicago, New York and Austin.
